Featuring an inspiring mix of the very best in alternative culture, and continually committed to setting new standards in sustainability with an eclectic blend of dub, world, ska, electronica, dub-step, psy trance, breaks, reggae, folk, Balkan beats and all manner of stompingly good tunes from rising stars, established favourites and surprise collaborations, in line with Sunrises shining musical reputation.
Sunrise Celebration takes place from Thursday 3rd until Sunday 6th June 2010 and will return to it's new home, Lilcombe Farm near Bruton, an organic farm in South Somerset.

Download Festival '10

Three days of heavy rock music over three stages at Donington, the spiritual home of rock!
Download returns for a eighth year, held over the weekend of Friday 11th to Sunday 13th June 2010. Download Festival, which this year has a capacity of 111,000 (making it the second largest festival in the UK), will return to Donington Park once again away from the racetrack.
2010 marks the 30th anniversary of Donington Park's heritage with rock. Starting with the 'Monsters of Rock' festival, which began in 1980 to playing host since 2003 to Download Festival – the site has played host to some legendary rock performances.

Isle of Wight Festival '10

Sellindge Music Festival '10

Sellindge Music Festival is an independent, family friendly annual arts festival featuring an eclectic mix of music and live performance with an ethos of diversity, fun and creativity.
The Sellindge Music Festival takes place at Hope Farm, Sellindge, near Ashford in Kent. As the closest festival to Europe, the event prides itself on a diverse programme of local, national and international artists from a variety of genres and backgrounds. Having grown out of the Sellindge Steam Special, the Sellindge Music Festival is a dedicated three-day music festival taking place from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th June 2010.

Mighty Dub Fest '10

Location: Newcastle Racecourse, High Gosforth Park, Newcastle upon Tyne
The inaugural Mighty Dub Fest is a Volkswagen Family Weekend Festival in the heart of the North East helping to raise funds for The Great North Air Ambulance. It will be held from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th June 2010 at Newcastle racecourse.

The evening entertainment will take place in the 900 capacity bar with acts including The Kush on Friday night, Bryan Adams tribute band 18 Till I Die, and Fizzyfish on Saturday night, and Sunday day time will have Clear Blue Skies.

Sonic Rock Solstice takes place for three days from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th June at Penmaenau Farm, Builth Wells, in Wales.

Willowman Festival '10

New for 2010 Willowman Festival is situated at Lenthor Farm just off the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors near the village of Osmotherley. The family friendly, old school, hippy style event takes place the weekend preceding Summer Solstice from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th June 2010.

Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts '10

2010's event will mark the 40th anniversary of music and arts festivals at Worthy Farm, Somerset, where Michael Eavis first opened his gates for business in September 1970, and now it's visited by around 177,000 people including staff, performers, etc.
A unique feast of music set on a huge site offering a grand scale of entertainment unlike any other festival in the world. For five days the Pilton farm plays host to a tented city in Somerset. As well as music from nearly every genre imaginable on over 50 stages, there's performing arts with cabaret, theatre, circus, children's entertainment, poetry, healing, green crafts and information and much more. Vibrant, spontaneous, colourful, and hugely entertaining. The dates for the 2010 Festival confirmed as Wednesday 23rd to Sunday 27th June.

Hard Rock Calling '10

Hard Rock Calling is an established London open air music event which showcases well known international acts, and a few legends over two days, and has a genuine festival feel to it.

The Live and Unsigned Festival '10

The Live and Unsigned Festival and national showcase grand final is set for The O2 Arena, Greenwich, London on Saturday 10th July 2010.
The Live and Unsigned Festival incorporates the National Grand Final and is an all day event, with entertainment in three arenas. The Festival will play host to an eclectic mix of artists and will offer Grand final contestants the chance to perform on stage with some of the biggest names in music.
The event will be in the capital of the UK and will include performances from competition finalists, headline acts, celebrity presenters and guest DJ's. The three arenas will all hold a mixture of acts, so the event offers something for all music tastes. The Festival gives successful acts the opportunity to perform to a live crowd of over 5,000 people and promote their music, with the overall winner of Live and Unsigned being crowned on the main stage.
If an act reaches the Grand Final they will be representing themselves as well as their region and competing against the very best unsigned artists from across the UK. Media representatives and music industry experts will also be present.

This family-friendly festival raises awareness of green issues and aims to be an ethical alternative to the more mainstream music events. Lovebox Weekender '10

This year Lovebox expands to three days of DJ sets and live PAs from club and radio DJs mixed with bands, and acoustic performers on a main stage, and nine smaller venues.

The Rock & Bike Fest '10

The Rock & Bike Fest is a three day festival expected to return to Draycott House, Derbyshire from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th of July.
Aside from the music you'll find good food, great beers, great family entertainment, face painting, creative arts & crafts, great kids entertainment like rides, bouncy castle etc. There is also a kids club onsite (with fully qualified and CRB checked staff).

Camp Bestival '10

One of the best festivals in the country for families with young children, Bestival's sister festival - Camp Bestival - returns in 2010 from Friday 30th July to Sunday 1st August, the first week of the school summer holidays, at the picturesque setting of Lulworth Castle, set against the backdrop of England's dramatic Jurassic coastline in Dorset.

The new rock festival which started last year is back for more at Hertfordshire's Knebworth House. Sonisphere is a two day event for 60,000 happening over three days from Friday 30th July until Sunday 1st August 2010.

The event is expected to once again have one main arena with a stage at either end, as well as two tented stages. The two outdoor stages, will have around a dozen acts alternating between one stage and another to keep the music continuous, whilst not having two acts playing at the same time.
Friday 30th July will see the festivities getting started with a Rocky Horror show theme, fancy dress is expected and encouraged. In addition to the acts on the Second Stage headlined by Alice Cooper, there will be bands performing on two tented stages from 6pm until 11pm.

End of the Road Festival '10

Started in 2006, the organisers aim is to "organise an intimate festival with our favourite artists, and to offer the bands an opportunity to play longer sets, compared to most other festivals." As the programming is done by the organisers who book acts they like, the line-up on offer is far more interesting than many other festivals. The dates for 2010 are confirmed as Friday 10th to Sunday 12th September.
The End of the Road festival caters for about 5,000 people. There are three music stages, with the Big Top open to 2am. There's also comedy and a cinema tent hosted by Little White Lies film magazine.
